Happy Easter

Happy Easter Everyone. We hope you all had a great long weekend.
Remembering the reason we serve such a GREAT God!
We had the privilege of having Trevor's parents & brother Benn with us for the weekend. Of course our kids were completely spoiled - Nana & Zeida LOVE their Grandkids...

This is Oakley posing with Uncle Benn & Ali. Oakley wants to box like Uncle Benn when he grows up!

Oakley & Rebekah after their Easter Egg hunt in our backyard. They LOVED it!

Here's Nana & Zeida - still in love after 35 years.

Oakley rode his quad all the way to the park.

Oakley LOVES Transformers. He got Iron Hide & Blackout in his Easter basket.

This is a random pic of Uncle Shane & Auntie Sarah. They couldn't spend the weekend with us, so I posted this pic just because.
Shane & Sarah - we missed you!

The Watoto African Children's Choir was at our church on Sunday night. They were AWESOME!!

**Tonight Oakley was trying to teach Rebekah how to do
"Ring Around the Rosy". Here is Oakley's version:
"Ring around the Rosy
Poca Roca Rosy
Splish splash! Splish splash!
We all fall down!

The mind of a Three year Old Boy

It's Happened... Oakley is officially a little boy. He has now reached the stage where he loves what we have started referring to as "Toilet Talk". For those of you who don't know what toilet talk would be, here are a few examples:
-"Poo poo & Pee pee & my Butt Hole!!"
-"Poop on your head!"
-"Oh - he tooted" (this phrase is usually followed by a farting sound)
He loves to make his GI Joes, Army guys, transformers Rebekah's dolls, basically anything he plays with either toot or poop.
At times it is funny, but of course other times it is completely inappropriate... like in Sunday School, or at a play group, grocery line ups, etc. Needless to say, we have been trying (rather I have been trying as Daddy likes to toilet talk right along side Oakley) to put a damper on the potty mouth.
After a long day of reminding him about a thousand times, he finally looked at me & said,
"Mommy, can I PLEASE talk like a toilet??"
I don't know what it is with this infatuation, but I am slowly learning that there is more to come in this department... God help me!
