The mind of a Three year Old Boy

It's Happened... Oakley is officially a little boy. He has now reached the stage where he loves what we have started referring to as "Toilet Talk". For those of you who don't know what toilet talk would be, here are a few examples:
-"Poo poo & Pee pee & my Butt Hole!!"
-"Poop on your head!"
-"Oh - he tooted" (this phrase is usually followed by a farting sound)
He loves to make his GI Joes, Army guys, transformers Rebekah's dolls, basically anything he plays with either toot or poop.
At times it is funny, but of course other times it is completely inappropriate... like in Sunday School, or at a play group, grocery line ups, etc. Needless to say, we have been trying (rather I have been trying as Daddy likes to toilet talk right along side Oakley) to put a damper on the potty mouth.
After a long day of reminding him about a thousand times, he finally looked at me & said,
"Mommy, can I PLEASE talk like a toilet??"
I don't know what it is with this infatuation, but I am slowly learning that there is more to come in this department... God help me!

Ahh the potty talk. i am well versed in this lingo. It gets even tougher to put a lid on when he's with friends. The laughter is uncontrollable. It can help if you tell them they can only talk like that in the bathroom. It's suddenly not as fun. When it's at home with just the family it can be funny, but I agree, the grocery line is a bit embarrassing. Boys...they're so funny.

just coninually remind him 'toilet talk is only to be used when you are using the toilet'
just like 'outdoor voices are to be used outside'
