Horsefly Lake

My parents have a cabin on Horsefly Lake. They purchased the property before they had kids, & we spent every summer on the lake as a family. We have made so many special memories there. This past week Oakley, Rebekah & myself had the priveledge of spending 4 days at the cabin with my parents. It was so special to watch Oakley making the same memories that I had as a child. Here are a few shots of our special time away:

Rebekah & Papa

Oakley loved Uncle Bill's boat

I love this picture of my Dad & Oakley having a moment together

Oakley's first fishing trip with Papa... he caught these fish & was VERY scared of them!

Bath time!

Ginny, imagine how it feels for us to now have the priviledge of having your kids enjoy the lake with you the way you enjoyed it with us. Except, of course, that it means we're no longer as energetic as we were when we were travelling there with small kids. Thanks, Trevor, for letting Ginny come and hang out with us there. We love it as much now as we did when we were your age - yes, we really were that young once. Mom

Cool aluminium boat. Is it a Springbok? I used to use a boat like that when I worked at a fish farm and it was a Springbok so I am just guessing. I am no boat guru.

Looks like Horsefly Lake was an amazing time.
